What is iptv and Satellite TV?
Internet Protocol television (IPTV) is a system through which television services are delivered using the Internet protocol suite over a packet-switched network such as a LAN or the Internet, instead of being delivered through traditional terrestrial, satellite signal, and cable television formats.
Satellite TV is a type of television programming that is wirelessly delivered to TV sets across the world via a network of radio signals, communications satellites, broadcast centers and outdoor antennas.
The difference between them :
IPTV is multicasting of content within managed network while Internet TV is broadcasting on un-managed(internet) network and Television from providers like DirecTV, delivered via radio waves.
The advantage of IPTV:
1. IPTV can be used in many operating systems, such as iPhone, Android, Smart TV, M3U, Enigma2 format and so on.
2.There are many programs to watch, such as movies, soap operas, VOD, and other TV shows
3.Most importantly, it allows clients to receive high-definition programming from carriers as long as the network is available
Satellite receiving equipment is expensive, it needs professional debugging personnel and high labor costs.
With the development of network bandwidth and network, IPTV has occupied a large market position. Maybe it will become mainstream in the future…
